I haz tumblr

I just set up a new tumblr blog (my first :D) which I’ll try to keep updated, though at first all you’ll see is a torrent of slightly geeky quotes and posts in the wrong type as I try to get used to it. I might even upload some music eventually!

Download “Ending (Ruby and Sapphire End Credits)” here!

Whoo! Been working on this one for a month. Surprisingly, finished within the same month as Lavender Town. o__o Crazy. Anyway, I approached arranging this piece with some hesitation: there were a LOT of things going on in the original “Ending” composed by Go Ichinose that I could barely begin to comprehend when I began listening to it. But, turns out, most of it was just fluff and padding added to make it sound larger than life, like those insanely stupid harp glissandi that cropped up every 5 seconds or so.

So, after trimming away all the fat, I shaped this piece as a slumbering giant of nostalgia slowly awakening—a lifetime of memories in the Hoenn Pokémon League rushing by you like the surrounding scenery as you ride your bike down memory lane… Returning home…and in the end, returning to the very basic concept of Pokémon itself.

OH. And as a side note, welcome to Pokémon Reorchestrated’s new and improved website! There’s still some construction going on over at the “Music” page, specifically me adding playlists for Johto and beyond, but the download page is fully functional! I’ll also be editing the YouTube video for release later this evening—I’m going to go out to hang with friends for my birthday. ^.^

Happy listening, and be sure to click “Share This” below the post to share the music with the rest of your PokéFriends!

P.S. Pokémon Reorchestrated rests solely on my shoulders now. As much as I’ve tried to form a productive team in the past, there were a lot of incompatibilities between me and the other team members in terms of time and priorities. I’ve produced much of the work on this project anyway, so nothing will have changed, really.

But just know that when I speak of “us” and “we” from now on, I’m talking about you and me. I wouldn’t be making music if it weren’t for all of PREO’s fans. So thank you. <3
